Preformed thermoplastic road markings

Preformed thermoplastic road markings are torch-applied marking products supplied in ready-made rolls, symbols, letters and numbers. They are commonly used for professional road-marking reinstatement, car parks, depots, cycle lanes, pedestrian routes and EV charging bays where the specified system is suitable.

White and yellow thermoplastic rolls

The FIXA live range includes 100mm x 5m white and yellow preformed thermoplastic rolls. These are suited to professional line reinstatement and local marking work where the substrate and project specification are appropriate. Current product pages include the applicable technical information, pack format and installation notes.

Symbols, letters and numbers

Preformed symbols can speed up installation where a standard ready-made marking is required. FIXA currently lists EV charging, walking-man and bicycle symbols, plus thermoplastic letters and numbers in multiple sizes.

Bespoke logos, school and playground markings

For custom designs, see bespoke preformed thermoplastic logos, school and playground markings. FIXA can help with custom logos, hopscotch, activity trails, arrows, symbols, number games and other site-specific preformed graphics.

Surface preparation matters

Preformed thermoplastic performance depends on the substrate and installation. Surfaces should be sound, clean and dry, and any required primer or preparation should follow the current product guidance and project specification. Existing failed markings, contamination or an unstable surface may need treatment before a new marking is installed.

Need to reinstate markings after a repair?

See the FIXA road-marking reinstatement guide for the information to check before choosing rolls, symbols, letters or numbers.

Need overbanding as well?

For suitable asphalt joints and reinstatement edges, see Proband 60 BBA-approved overbanding tape and the FIXA overbanding and asphalt joint guide.
